The registration plate market is growing at a fair pace in the U.K.
When DVLA by Act of Parliament was created as an executie agency, allowed to raise revenue for the Treasury by selling off previously unissued registration marks, this allowed many more people to enjoy choosing a private registration plate.
Previously the supply of private or cherished marks was dwindling and, thus, the prices becoming prohibitive.
Now, especially in the Make Your Own Plate range, if you choose a year letter to suit your vehicle (remember, you can't use a registration plate to make a vehicle appear newer than it is) plus three initial letters you can enter the market very cheaply.
