The October F Prefix Registration Release
Over the last 18 years the DVLA has had 34 major releases. In October, they are releasing previously un-issued 'F' prefix registrations. In total over 20,000 brand new 'F' prefix registrations will be available to buy.
The first batch of 'F' prefix registrations was released in 1988 - and since then about 400 'F' registrations have been released via DVLA auctions.
National Numbers has a wealth of experience buying registrations on the very first day of release - usually within the first few hours. Remember - it's only possible to buy one registration at a time, so we have hundreds of lines to enable us to make as many sales as possible.
The 'F' prefix release offers a new unparalleled opportunity to make unique name combinations. The marks will comprise the 'F' prefix, a number between 1 and 20, followed by a three-letter combination (excluding 'I', 'Q', and 'Z').
The most obvious choices are for those whose first name, for instance Frank, Fiona, Fasal; or surname, for instance Fox, Fisher, Foster - begins with F.
Of course, you can use the number 3 or 4 to replace an A or an E, or the number 11 to replace an L, an N or a U. Check out our number plate jargon explained page for more helpful hints and ideas.
And don't overlook the three letter combination at the end; they offer great scope for initials: for instance F1 SUE, F1 JON or F1 TOM.
For all you petrolheads who would buy a personalised number plate for your Fiat, Ford, Ferrari or FSO car, how about F14 TXX, F10 RDD, F3 RAR, or F1 FSO?

As you can see, there are so many options for everybody - so give our number plate search or make your own plate search a try to find your own fantastic F registration. We are taking pre-orders now, and our track record is second to none - just see how many E registrations we bought at the DVLA's last major prefix release. You have nothing to lose as we will give you a full refund should we be unable to secure your plate.
